Sharon Conroy-Caring Kind 2004

Sharon Conroy, RN, BSN is Community Hospital’s 2004 Caring Kind recipient. Sharon is the kind of nurse every patient deserves: knowledgeable, skillful, friendly, respectful, and compassionate with all. Her energy level is always high and that translates into a “can do” environment for all who work with her.

Sharon is one of our “teachers” leading new nurses into the world of Community Hospital and keeping her fellow staff updated in the field of nursing. She acts as preceptor to student nurses, teaching BLS, ACLS and PALS. Sharon is on the hospital’s roster of speakers and has lectured on health issues at the hospital and for the public. She also gives of her time serving on hospital committees.

Her passion for nursing is nearly matched by her love for Nebraska football. On game days Sharon is decked out in red, eager for the kickoff.
