Community Hospital Honored as PRC Four- and Five-Star Hospital

Community Hospital was named as a 2008 PRC 4-Star and 5-Star Hospital in its Patient Perception and Employee Perception studies at an awards dinner held at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore on the Inner Harbor in May. Hospital leaders from across the United States gathered here to participate in the 2008 PRC Client Education Conference hosted by Professional Research Consultants, Inc.

Community Hospital received awards in the following areas:

Employee Perception Study Awards

• 5-Star Total Compensation Package
• 4-Star Employee Training & Education
• 4-Star Executive Leadership

Patient Perception Study Awards

• 4-Star Emergency Department

Research for the above studies is conducted by PRC to obtain the opinions of the patients and employees at Community Hospital to assess their perceptions of the hospital. The research findings are then presented to the hospital to use in continuous improvement and enhancement of both patient satisfaction and employee satisfaction.
