Classes

Diabetes

Take control of your diabetes by asking your doctor for a referral to the Diabetic Education Program at Community Hospital. You'll gain comprehensive information and insights into what happens in your body when you have diabetes, and learn strategies available to care for the condition. These strategies include diet, exercise, blood sugar monitoring, and medication including insulin administration.

This program, in conjunction with Bryan Health in Lincoln, is recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education, and qualifies for Medicare and insurance reimbursement in most cases. Financial assistance is available for those with no payment source. Taught by a Diabetic Educator and Dietician, these classes from Community Hospital are first-rate.
