Campaign for Health, Hope and Healing
In January 2011 work began for the Campaign for Health, Hope and Healing. The campaign has three focuses: To create a healing garden to fill the space surrounded on three sides by construction of the patient wing, surgical suites and public space. The garden is designed with seven distinct patio and garden areas where patients, family members, friends and healthcare providers can connect with nature to reflect and renew. The garden is an integral piece of patient centered care. It can enhance clinical care received at Community Hospital by providing a means to heal the mind and spirit.
The second focus is to give our benefactors the opportunity to memorialize loved ones by naming either one of the two hospice rooms in the new patient wing or the two-story, beautiful visiting area located at the south end of the patient wing or any of the patios and furnishings in the garden.
The third and final focus is to build an endowment to provide funding to maintain the garden over time. You may donate on-line by selecting Campaign on the Giving page.
