Website: New Look and New Information

Community Hospital is pleased to introduce a new, visually pleasing, dynamic and user-friendly website. The new site incorporates Community Hospital and Community Hospital Health Foundation under the same domain name, www.chmccook.org.

Designed by Idea Bank Marketing of Hastings, Nebraska, the new site is easy to navigate and maintain, and makes finding information quick and intuitive. "Our new site could be described as informative, professional, fresh and appealing," said Candy Crosby, Public Relations Coordinator. "Since it is designed as a Content Management System, we will be able to provide our own real time updates, content edits, and file uploads. It also allows for future growth and customization."

The new site will include popular features such as e-cards for patients and staff, online bill pay, medical staff directory, KRAMES health library, employment opportunities, and the web baby nursery.

Home Page Slide Show and Event Scrollbar
A new home page slide show brings movement to the web page and highlights Community Hospital’s core competencies. Another new feature is a moving scrollbar to feature current events, or other important feature news.

New Calendar of Events
A new calendar will be featured on the updated website which combines all events, classes, activities and visiting specialists’ visits onto one calendar. Users have the capability to filter the calendar by category.

New Foundation Features
Community Hospital Health Foundation’s pages include new features such as event registration forms and the ability to pay for events and donate online through PayPal.

Other updated areas on the new hospital website include tabs for Hospital Services, Classes, Programs, For Patients, News and Events and Learn More.
