Diabetic Support Group to Meet March 15

McCook, Nebraska—The diabetes support group will meet on Thursday, March 15 at 7 p.m. in the Community Hospital Meadowlark Conference Rooms. Monica Wacker RN, Certified Diabetic Educator will facilitate the group. Special speakers are Becky Mai, Community Hospital social worker and Cathy Nichols, RN. They will present a program entitled “Five Wishes.” There are many things in life that are out of our hands. The Five Wishes document gives people a way to control something very important - how they are treated if they get seriously ill. Please come join the support group and learn more about “Five Wishes.”

The diabetic support group is sponsored by Community Hospital and is open to all diabetics, their families and those interested in learning more about diabetes. The group meets for about one hour. No reservations are required. There is no charge to attend. The support group generally meets every other month at Community Hospital on the third Thursday, September through May.
