New Visiting Pulmonologist Has Ties to Indianola

A new visiting pulmonologist/critical care specialist to Community Hospital was born and raised in Indianola. Matthew Stritt, M.D., who joined the Hastings Pulmonary & Sleep Clinic in July, will see patients the fourth Friday of each month in McCook at Community Hospital’s Medical Specialists Clinic beginning January 27.

Dr. Stritt graduated from Republican Valley High School in 1993 and is the son of Tom and Nanci Stritt of Indianola. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha. He completed an internal medicine residency and a pulmonary/critical care fellowship, both at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Stritt is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine.

He and his wife, Staci, have one son.

Dr. Stritt partners with Kalpesh Ganatra of the Hastings Pulmonary & Sleep Clinic. Dr. Ganatra also sees patients in McCook on the first Friday of every month. To learn more about Dr. Stritt or to make an appointment, contact the Hastings Pulmonary & Sleep Clinic at 402-460-5787.
