October 16 Educational Program: “Managing Joint Pain”

The public and 55PLUS members are invited to a free educational program, “Managing Joint Pain” sponsored by Community Hospital, on Tuesday, October 16 at 6 p.m. in Community Hospital’s Prairie View Conference Rooms in McCook. Please use the main entrance. A light dinner will be served.
Dr. McCarty will be discussing what causes joint pain, how to manage pain before surgery and available treatments, including surgery, for individuals with joint pain.
Michael McCarty, M.D. is a board certified orthopedic surgeon associated with Central Nebraska Orthopedics and Sports Medicine inGrand Island. He sees patients weekly at Community Hospital’s Medical Specialists Center. He also performs surgeries at CommunityHospital—including joint replacements.
