Community Hospital’s phone system will be down on Saturday, January 9 from 1 p.m. until approximately 7 p.m. while the Information Systems department upgrades the power infrastructure in the data center. During that time, the hospital’s main phone number, 308-344-2650, will be routed over to a cell phone. Phone calls will be taken one call at a time, but the hospital’s multiple back-up lines will not be available during the six-hour period of time. Those calling in may get a busy signal or the phone may ring multiple times before anyone answers. If that happens, the caller may need to hang up and try calling again.
