Mary has been an excellent nursing assistant since 2003. She embodies the definition of kindness as she provides a healing touch to each and every patient she cares for. Her playful laugh or light hearted conversation is well timed and her respect for patients and their families sets a high standard of care at Community Hospital. Mary treats patients, family members and staff with dignity and respect.

When an extra hand is required, Mary anticipates the need and is always available for difficult tasks and assistance to her co-workers. Mary’s commitment to her nursing profession has been steadfast over the years. She is very reliable and a true team member and the nicest caring individual.

Mary is sympathetic and empathetic and has compassion for the patient and their family. She takes time to let the patients know they are not alone. Mary is an angel in disguise and very deserving of the Caring Kind Award. She and her husband, Lloyd, have three children, Anthony, Adam, and Alisa, and nine grandchildren.
