In less than five years of her employment with Community Hospital, Edna Smith’s fellow employees voted her Caring Kind recipient. She has projected a feeling of caring and concern for patients, patient’s families and employees by taking personal interest in each and every one who visits her cafeteria. Taking time to visit and remember each individual making all feel special in an unfamiliar environment, Edna has given Community Hospital a feeling of “home”.
