Caring Kind Award Recipients

Evan Geilenkirchen - Caring Kind 2019

Evan goesEvan Geilenkichen above and beyond to care for not only his patients but also his co-workers. No matter the time of day or night he is called in, or the situation, he is always compassionate, kind, and caring to all. Evan has a welcoming attitude. He never complains about anything and is seriously an awesome person. Each day before he leaves, he always stops and checks to see if anybody needs any help in the ER and if everything is ok. Whether it is placing an epidural in LDR, calling for an alternative airway in ER, or starting a tricky IV site on the floor, Evan is great for questions and always addresses everyone with a smile. He is always professional and treats everyone with respect, even in stressful situations. He likes to be involved in hospital activities and meetings so he knows what is going on in other departments and to improve the hospital. It is truly our pleasure to work with Evan.”

Evan has been working as a nurse anesthetist at Community Hospital since 2014. Prior to that he worked in Missouri three years, North Platte eight years and Cozad five years. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1992 from the University of Nebraska College of Nursing.
