Caring Kind Award Recipients

Jack Clark - Caring Kind 2003

Jack ClarkFor more than 24 years one of the most familiar faces and voices in the halls of Community Hospital has been Jack Clark. A registered pharmacist and director of the hospital’s pharmacy, Jack has shown real dedication to our facility and those we serve by being on call 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week, when he served as our lone pharmacist.

Always smiling and friendly, never knowing a stranger, Jack often stops in to visit with patients and their families about their medication-especially our clients receiving Chemotherapy. Patients have been heard to say, “ I’m so glad Jack is here”.

Whether it’s years of refereeing local football games or serving on the McCook School Board, the Mid-Plains Community College, his church, and local organizations, Jack has always given of his time and talents. He puts the word “Community” in practice by treating everyone equally with compassion and humor. Jack’s rapport with the hospital staff and patients , energetic demeanor, and quick wit with a joke to lighten the day, have made him a most worthy recipient of the 2003 “Caring Kind“ award.
