Josie Ramos - Caring Kind 1983

Josie RamosJosie Ramos always has a friendly smile and hello for all she comes in contact with. Josie is a “bright” spot in employees and hospital visitors’ lives.

Josie has been an employee of Community Hospital since 1965. During that time, she has always been willing to come in on her day off and assist wherever she is needed.

Josie speaks Spanish fluently which has been a great asset to the hospital, local clinics, and community. Many times she has been called to the hospital at night to interpret for a patient and their family. She willingly comes to the hospital and is a great comfort to the people.

Josie is a generous caring person and gives unselfishly of herself. Each Christmas Josie makes homemade tamales for all of the employees to have at lunch, in addition to giving packages to others to take home to share with their families.

Josie is a person with a great deal of faith in God and always tries to live her faith. She attends church regularly, as well as being involved in many church groups and their activities.

Josie is a quiet, gentle person who exhibits a true “Caring Kind” approach to life. We are proud to have Josie Ramos as our Caring Kind for 1983.
