Monica Wacker - Caring Kind 2001

Monica WackerMonica Wacker, RN, CDE, radiates a commitment of caring to patients, co-workers and the community. She helped develop the diabetic program at Community Hospital. As a certified diabetic educator, Monica works with a team of professionals to improve the quality of life for patients who attend the programs. These patients are her number one priority. She not only teaches good health habits to them, but also lives by the same rules of commitment and dedication.

As the employee education coordinator, Monica is involved with new employee orientation, inservices and many other educational activities for the Community Hospital staff. Others respect her advice and direction.

Monica models a strong work ethic by making the most of every minute of her work day, by striving to be better organized and by consistently demonstrating a professional caring attitude toward the patients. Monica is a well- rounded individual who focuses on her personal wellness, as well as, that of others.

Monica works with families of those involved in tragedies. With her sincere caring spirit she is able to provide the gentle touch and kind words that mean so much in times of a crisis.

Wherever there is a need, there you will find Monica. Community Hospital is a better place because of Monica Wacker. She is the exemplification of the Caring Kind.
