Monte brings a lot to Community Hospital. As one of the few males here at the hospital he stands out as a major influence why our hospital is a great place to work and to receive quality health care. Monte has a very special caring way with his patients. He treats them with respect, dignity and a sense of humor and they really enjoy being around him.

His colleagues also feel the same way. Monte makes Community Hospital a fun place to work. He is on many different committees and gives extras to these committees even going so far as to dress as a reindeer on two occasions to entertain the employees and the public. Monte gives his extra time teaching a variety of classes such as PALS, the smoking cessation class, and a 55 PLUS program, just to name a few.

Monte Garcia exemplifies a caring spirit and for these and many more reasons he deserves the Caring Kind award.
