Caring Kind Award Recipients

Ted Long - Caring Kind 2012

Ted LongTed Long, Director of Maintenance at Community Hospital, was honored in October as Community Hospital's 2012 Caring Kind recipient during the Nebraska Hospital Association annual convention. During the convention, Ted was a guest at the Caring Kind luncheon along with other recipients from across the state. The Caring Kind award is a time-honored tradition of the Nebraska Hospital Association. It recognizes outstanding health care employees who have demonstrated compassion for patients, cooperation with coworkers and dedication to providing the best care possible. Hospitals across the state select a Caring Kind recipient from within their respective institutions.

Ted was nominated by co-workers and chosen by the Community Hospital PACT Committee. His nomination read:

“You have helped Community Hospital grow with your dedication, knowledge, kindness, skills, values, morals, and attention to detail. You truly are the Caring Kind and it shows not only through your actions, but also every where we look in this beautiful building. Your willingness to go above and beyond has been noticed and is greatly appreciated.”
