Community Hospital’s diabetic support group will meet Tuesday, January 28 at noon in the Prairie View A meeting room. Sharon Conroy, RN, infection protection nurse will present a program on Sepsis.

Sepsis is a life-threatening medical condition that arises when the body initiates a powerful immune response against an infection. Lunch will be served. RSVPs are required by calling Monica Wacker, RN, Certified Diabetes Educator at 308-344-8539 or emailing mwacker@chmccook.org. Guests are welcome but be sure to RSVP to aid in planning.

There is no charge to attend. The diabetic support group is sponsored by Community Hospital and is open to all diabetics, their families and those interested in learning more about diabetes. The group generally meets for about one hour every other month at Community Hospital on the third week of the month, September through May.
