Money Donated to Bison Boosters

McCook Clinic, P.C. and Community Hospital’s Physical Therapy department recently donated $3,345 raised from last year’s sports physicals to the McCook Bison Booster program. McCook physicians, physician assistants and Community Hospital's physical therapy department, Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy, performed 223 athletic physicals last year for McCook Public Schools.

The Bison Booster donation helps to support McCook Public Schools athletic programs. Recent projects include a sprint timing system for all teams, various sports and weight room equipment, a Vertimax training system and funding for various sports banquets.

Past projects include new golf bags, new tennis team racquets, training aids for the girls’ basketball team and pole vault poles for the track teams. Other projects supported include the high school bleacher projects, a new concession building at Weiland Field, tennis courts, record boards at the high school, needs for the coaches the budget doesn’t cover, new weight room and equipment, shower project and travel equipment for all sports.
