Community Hospital is pleased to announce a new visiting physician specializing in cardiology is seeing patients at the Medical Specialists Center in McCook.

Dr. Saleh El Dassouki, MD, a fellowship-trained interventional and advanced heart failure cardiologist, is associated with Great Plains Health Heart Institute in North Platte. He specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease and has board certifications in internal medicine: cardiovascular disease and internal medicine, and in nuclear cardiology.

He completed medical school at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in Kaunas, Lithuania, and residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Palm Beach Regional Campus in internal medicine.

Dr. Dassouki completed the following fellowships: General Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Jackson Memorial Hospital; Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Utah; and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Jackson Memorial Hospital;

Dr. Dassouki is fluent in English, French, Arabic, Lithuanian and Spanish.
