McCook Clinic and Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy Donate Money from Sport Physicals to McCook Bison Boosters

The money was raised from sports physicals performed by McCook Clinic and Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy, and is donated back to the McCook Bison Booster program every year. McCook, Nebraska—McCook Clinic, P.C. and Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy recently donated $3,735 raised from sports physicals to the McCook Bison Booster program. McCook physicians, physician assistants and Community Hospital's physical therapy department, Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy, performed 249 athletic physicals last year for McCook Public Schools.

The Bison Booster donation helps to support McCook Public Schools athletic programs. In the past year, Bison Boosters helped to purchase headsets for football, racquets for tennis, a Dr. Dish shooting machine for basketball and funds for a training room remodel, including taping tables, a whirlpool and training room supplies. Future commitments include remodeling the weight room.

Past projects include the high school bleacher projects, a new concession building at Weiland Field, tennis courts, record boards at the high school, needs for the coaches the budget doesn’t cover, new weight room and equipment, shower project and travel equipment for all sports.
