Donation to Southwest Schools Booster Club

Lisa Ryan, vice president of the Southwest Schools Booster Club (second from left), receives a check for $1,185 from Chuck Krysl, physician assistant from McCook Clinic. The money was raised from sports physicals performed by McCook Clinic and Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy, and is donated back to the Southwest Schools Booster Club program. Representing Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy are physical therapists Ryan Hardin and Gabrielle Bednar.

McCook, Nebraska—McCook Clinic, P.C. and Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy recently donated $1,185 raised from sports physicals to the Southwest Schools Booster Club program. McCook physicians, physician assistants and Community Hospital's physical therapy department, Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy, performed 79 athletic physicals last year for Southwest Public Schools students.

The donation helps to support Southwest Public Schools programs. In the past, the boosters have use funds to make meals for sport teams traveling out of town, purchase helmets for the first and third graders during the bike rodeo, purchase Southwest Schools t-shirts for the kindergartners, as well as other needs as requested by the school.
