Visiting OB-GYN Joins Medical Staff

McCook, Nebraska—Community Hospital is pleased to announce a new visiting physician specializing in obstetrics will see patients at the Medical Specialists Center in McCook.

Dr. Benjamin Klug, who is associated with North Platte OBGYN, provides care in routine and high-risk obstetrics, gynecology and gynecological surgery. He will see patients at Community Hospital on the first and third Thursdays of each month beginning February 2.

Dr. Klug graduated from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. In June 2016, he completed the four year OBGYN residency in the Kansas University-Wichita program. He is eligible for board certification with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, having completed his written boards and now preparing to sit for his oral board examination.

Originally from McCook, Nebraska, Dr. Klug is thankful to be back in Western Nebraska and for the opportunity to raise his family with the same small town values that both he and his wife experienced growing up and attending college in Nebraska. They have three young children and he enjoys spending time at the lake, woodworking and hunting. He is the son of Pam and Dr. Richard Klug of McCook. Dr. Richard Klug is associated with McCook Clinic.
