Wellness for Life

The mission of Community Hospital’s Wellness for Life Program is to educate, support and empower our employees, patients, and community to create a culture of wellness that promotes healthy lifestyles, decreases the risk of disease, and enhances the quality of life for lifelong excellence.

Taking responsibility for one’s health and well-being is an essential part of provident living and is vital to one’s ability to contribute to their community.  Wellness for Life promotes positive change in four areas of health and wellness:

 Physical Wellness
Implementing positive lifestyle habits that promote taking care of your body for optimal health and functioning.

Spiritual Wellness
Encouraging individuals to find the meaning in life events, demonstrating individual purpose, and having the ability to be compassionate towards others.

Emotional Wellness
Encouraging positive attitude, high self-esteem, a strong sense of self and the ability to recognize and share a wide range of feelings with others in a constructive way.

Intellectual Wellness
Creating an environment open to new ideas, thinking critically, and seeking out new challenges in addition to fostering creativity and the curiosity to never stop learning.
