Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) – Medical Oncology: Full-time position typically working Monday – Friday.
Primary responsibilities include:
Functions as an advanced practice provider in the Medical Oncology Clinic for the McCook community and surrounding area within the scope of a license.
Provides quality direct patient care for the Medical Oncology Clinic.
Committed to a strong working relationship between Medical Oncology and all members of the patient health care team.
Supports Patient Navigation duties and advocates on behalf of patients to reduce disparities in cancer care.
Promotes positive public relations with the community.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant by the State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) certification preferred. Must be willing and able to obtain OCN, AOCNP, or ASCO certification or comparable certification within 12 months of hire.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) validation preferred.
Clinical experience in medical oncology preferred.
