Community Connect is our commitment to improving the health and quality of life in southwest Nebraska and northwest Kansas. Focusing on supporting and improving the overall health and wellbeing of your employees can lead to increased productivity, decreased healthcare costs, and improved quality of life. The goal is to improve the health of our region by providing opportunities to learn from various health professionals on how to be proactive and prevent disease, become aware of risk factors and learn the overall importance of wellness.
Health Screenings
Offered to area businesses and customized to what you want. Community Hospital's health fairs can include: Blood pressure checks, weight and height, blood sugar checks, blood testing for cholesterol levels, flexibility, grip strength, posture, % body fat, medication consultation. To schedule a health fair or screening, contact the Community Outreach Coordinator at 308-344-8550.
Safety Education
Upon request from your organization or business, Community Hospital's Safety Director can provide education regarding many safety issues. Such items for this safety education can include workplace violence, hazard communication, emergency management (disaster planning), and safety management including safety committee requirements and annual continuing education. Community Hospital's Safety Director can be reached at 308-344-8362.
Hospital Tours
Tours of the hospital are available to groups such as school and community organizations. To schedule a tour, call 308-344-8550.
