McCook, Neb. — Community Hospital is proud to recognize members of its Safety and Security Department for achieving professional certifications through the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS), demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

IAHSS offers four levels of certification for healthcare security professionals, including Basic, Advanced, and Supervisor certifications. The highest level, Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA), is required for security leaders pursuing the IAHSS Program of Distinction—an achievement that reflects excellence in healthcare security programs.

Members of the Community Hospital security team have successfully earned multiple certifications across all levels, including Basic, Advanced, and Supervisor designations. One team member has also achieved the Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) credential, representing the highest level of certification offered by IAHSS and a key component of the Program of Distinction.
