Description:
The Medical Laboratory Scientist will perform Laboratory Tests and QC in all Laboratory departments, perform general maintenance & troubleshooting as needed, provide care for all age groups, and assess and interpret laboratory results specific to each age group. The MLS will also take call as scheduled, rotate shifts, and work weekends as scheduled.
Requirements:
- MLS (ASCP) or equivalent registration required
- 1-2 years of previous hospital lab experience preferred
- Must be able to do Phlebotomy correctly required
- Previous experience with computers preferred, will train on specific programs
- Must be able to rotate shifts as needed, required
