Mental Health Medication Management
Community Hospital’s Mental Health Nurse Practitioner conducts initial evaluations and diagnosis while also prescribing medications to address mental health concerns identified during the patient’s appointment.
Appointments:
- Initial appointment
- Adults - 60 minutes
- Children/Adolescents - 90 minutes
- Follow-Up appointments: 30 minutes
Continued evaluation and management of medications, both injectable and oral, will be monitored during follow-up appointments at the office. On-site lab services are provided for your convenience to fulfill monitoring requirements, including necessary blood tests associated with prescribed medications. Efforts will be made to coordinate with other healthcare providers, ensuring comprehensive and collaborative care.
Substance Use Services- medications to help with cravings and/or addiction, NOT including buprenorphine, can be prescribed. If a higher level of care is needed, appropriate referrals will be made to other programs in the surrounding area.
