The Orthopedic Clinic CMA/LPN/RN is responsible for supporting daily clinical operations and ensuring high-quality patient care through strong communication skills and professionalism. Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining exam rooms, collecting, documenting and updating patient information in the EMR, assisting providers with minor in-office procedures, performing telephone triage and addressing patient inquiries, scheduling patient appointments and coordinating surgical procedures, collaborating with providers, other staff and additional departments as needed, maintaining strict patient confidentiality in accordance with hospital policies, and representing Community Hospital in a positive and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program, or current Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure by the State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
- Experience with a clinical setting preferred
