The Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer is responsible for explaining exams, answering questions, and helping mentally prepare a diverse group of patients for their imaging needs. Duties also include, utilize medical sonography to acquire, send, and store diagnostic quality imaging of customers for interpretation, prepare rooms and work areas for exams and restock supplies as needed, and being an advocate to our customers (patients, staff, and providers) and ourselves, to safely and efficiently obtain diagnostic quality imaging.
Requirements:
- Current primary American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography - or - Current American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Abdomen, Breast or Obstetrics & Gynecology required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) for Healthcare Providers preferred
- Preferred - Additional current primary American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography
