We take great pride in our ability to provide for the healthcare needs and improve the overall health and wellness of the residents of Southwest Nebraska and Northwest Kansas. Our Mission is “to excel at providing for the healthcare needs of our region through quality, efficient and patient-centered care.” Our long-term goal or Vision is “to lead the region as a Healthcare Team by exceeding patient expectations through the advancement of quality healthcare services.”
Fitness Reaching Older Generations (FROG) is a wonderful program that very tightly weaves into our Mission and Vision and because of this we are excited about the future of this program and committed to furthering its success in the years to come. FROG started right here in Southwest Nebraska and the first implemented program was at Community Hospital several years ago. We are extremely passionate and committed to FROG as it provides enjoyable exercise and a social outlet to improve fitness and wellness in each frogger’s life.
One of our strategic goals in support of our Vision is "to provide the highest value health and wellness services and continue to enhance our community stewardship." To put it another way, our goal is to touch communities in our region now with an impact that lasts a lifetime. We feel that this program is a vital component of our overall Community Hospital wellness efforts. As a healthcare team we definitely recommend all “older gens” take full advantage of the FROG program to enhance their ability to “catch flies” and “leap from lily pad to lily pad” for many years.
