Athletic Trainer

Community Hospital's certified athletic trainer, Evan DeKok, MS, LAT, ATC, provides athletic trainer services to McCook Community College and McCook High School athletes in a variety of sports providing game coverage, assisting student athletes with rehab therapies and recovery and providing early injury recognition and evaluation.

He is a part of the Community Hospital sports medicine team of Richard Lawton, M.D., orthopedic surgeon; Kaitlyn Redding, orthopedic certified physician assistant, and Becki Lampe, LPN, orthopedic nurse.

Evan graduated from the University of Nebraska – Kearney with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2021 and a Master of Athletic Training Program degree in 2022.
