Cardiology

Dr. Heirigs received his medical degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine, Vermillion, S.D. He then completed an internal medicine residency as well as a cardiology fellowship at the Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and board-eligible for its subspecialty of cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Heirigs is also a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Cardiology. He specializes in preventative and diagnostic cardiology as well as is experienced in nuclear cardiology, diagnostic coronary cardiac catheterization and trans-thoracic and trans-esophageal echocardiograms.
